Taking the knee

Instead of going on about how victimized you feel about something that literally has no effect on your daily life, why don't you ask black people if they want it done?
The 'all lives matter' wankers are the first to gloat when an immigrant boat goes down in the channel.
All lives do matter though don't they. If you think differently then you are part of the problem.
Suggesting that people will gloat about an immigrant boat going down is fucking abominable. You can have an opinion about immigration but most people are decent enough to recognize a tragedy when they see one.

i'll refer the honorable gentleman to the following tautological argument.
If all lives actually mattered, we wouldn't need Black Lives Matter would we?

The message should not single out a particular creed or colour. Nobody is more special than any other.
For the record I was racially abused by a black person on the tube last year. So it's not a one way thing. Racism takes on many forms, it's not an exclusive club to one section of society.

Well that's not good is it. But have you faced it every day? Been overlooked for jobs? Been followed around shops by security? Been stopped by police more often?

It would be nice if the left of centre activists could develop a bit of political nous. They could have moved the dial a little - they pretty much had the argument won that itā€™s not good look for police to kill innocent, unarmed black people - and then build from that new base.

What did they actually do? Dig out every grievance and campaign they have ever had across the political debate and chucked it into the mix. Result - confusion, and no actual progress.

No effect- really Teabreak , no effect.
Iā€™ve lost two jobs so far because I donā€™t fit with the current diversity and inclusion agenda.

And Iā€™ve never floated about immigrants drowning in the channel you soft cunt.

A total load of Bollocks anybody who lives in a real world knows this, can you imagine if they carried this on till proper football fans had there say šŸ˜˜

Type of thing I would expect to hear from someone with a massive chip on the shoulder
Ah, the chip on the shoulder argument. Can't answer it honestly though can you? Why do you all get so triggered about people trying to be treated equally? Is it anything to do with having your position of privilege being challenged making you feel uncomfortable?

You lost two jobs because football players are taking the knee? That's rough. I'm responding to the OP, not the extra guff that's been added to the mix so that you can feel more victimized.

Personally I think this country is about 800 years old, I take Magna Carta as my starting point.

In those years the indigenous people created a country, a culture that was, by and large, built for the benefit of the indigenous people. Generations upon generations of people working to build better lives for themselves, their families and their descendants, not white privilege but British privilege, build on 800 years of hard work.

Sure it was not perfect but in general I think we did ok. I am not going to list this countries achievements, nor am I going to gloss over its failures, but I am comfortable with it in the main.

Overall, by the second half of the 20th century we created a country so decent and tolerant that half the world wants to come and live here.
