l can't talk to you about BLM and kneeling becouse l think your views are so shallow. Simply, BLM is designed to caurse division and civil unrest, isn't it a coincidence that it came along whing we are in the middle of a world wide fake pandemic, how did that happen, weird eh ! The same people are driving both, you can't see this so its not a debate and l will not get involved with you. A tip for the future always look for the root of the latest unrest and who stands to gain ? FIN

Rashfords doing a great job right? I think we can all agree hopefully. It’s not a race thing, it’s free meals for anyone who’s struggling regardless of race or colour.
All this quota bollocks is killing us. Diversity and inclusion numbers not being achieved so we’ll up the numbers and force it through regardless of skills, experience or suitability for the role.
Taking the knee is meaningless and embarrassing for those being forced to do it.

I can sort of see the point, as people shouldn't be appointed to jobs they're aren't capable of doing just to make up the numbers. Appointing people through quotas also embitters people "he only got the job through quotas", but that says more about them really. However, leaving it up to the employers, just for one example, doesn't seem to be working does it? Why are there still so few black football managers?
 
Football is full of people who shouldn’t be in the role but why the need to fill numbers for black, Asian, women specifically when we have many good Italian , Portuguese, German managers and coaches. Why make it a quota based upon colour or diversity number filling.
 
There should be no quotas for any group. You are either good enough for the job, or you're not. Yes there are certain jobs that go to friends and family. But quotas shouldn't be the way to stop that, even if it can be prevented.
 
I have a fondness for 'classic' small band jazz, mostly American stuff from the 50s, 60s and early 70s. The bulk of the artists are black, the very best almost universally so. That means I am racist, right?

Maybe I should listen to white musicians instead, even though, overall they are not so good, level the playing field, right?

As a kid I used to play cricket, as a teenager I was pretty good. I was a fast bowler who thought he could bat a bit, so even then I wanted to be a 'fast bowling allrounder'.

At that time my cricketing hero was Garfield Sobers, he did not need a crooked playing field to excel.

Not sure which particular bit you're referring to. I'm not saying I'm necessarily a fan of quotas or whatever you want to call them, but leaving it up to market forces/merits etc doesn't seem to have worked for some reason. Can't quite put my finger on what that reason might be.

You only have to look at some of the remarks here to get some idea.
