Porton Down - you know our most advanced biological laboratory , possibly in the world reckon that full vaccination offers 70% protection against Omicron symptomatic infection and probably much higher against serious disease .


Not enough data yet apparently to suggest how serious it could be, but I don’t fancy the chances of the elderly unvaccinated surviving unscathed for next 3 months given it’s doubling every 2-3 days . A million by January in the U.K. .

No doubt there are some Russian bots, red neck nutjobs or discredited “ doctors “ on social media who will tell you otherwise. I’ll go with Porton Down .

Usual misleading crap . Yes some tests led to disastrous consequences for a few individuals in the 1950s-1980s
But the organisation has saved and will save many many thousands of lives developing protection against chemical and biological warfare and infectious diseases .

Sometimes I just wonder how far this government, and the people who control them are prepared to go on this. 'Take the jab to be free', 'three weeks to flatten the curve', 'if it saves one life', all complete bollocks to move us inexorably towards a 'covid pass', then 'digital ID', then total slavery to the state.

Is that going to happen? Maybe, maybe not, but if it is allowed to happen we will be in deep shit.

I agree this government are dictatorial .
The attempts to rewrite parliamentary rules to cover up rampant corruption , the police and justice bill removing our right to protest and threatening the lives of refugees , the attempts to rig electoral boundaries , attempting to prorogue Parliament and lying to the Head off State , the threat to pull us out of the ECHR, the proposal to overturn judicial rulings they don’t like , the attempt to rig the appointment of the head of ofcom to further control media criticism.

Fascism doesn’t just arrive , it creeps up when we are looking elsewhere . Thankfully there are probably enough of us staring straight at these bastards to ensure they don’t succeed , but it will be a continued fight to uphold what our forebears fought for.

All this is a true attack on democracy such as I have never known in my lifetime
.Asking you to wear a mask in a shop and take a vaccine which may save your life isn’t .

I strongly believe that the mask, the vaccine and other 'control' measures are an integral part of of the movement to impose an authoritarian tyranny on the people of this country. You still think that it is about a virus.

There is nothing that I can say on here that will change your mind, so I am not going to try, but as for the rest of your points I am broadly in agreement (though I believe this agenda is driven by people and organisations that are well above Johnson and the his government in the food chain).

Essentially you are saying that government policy is not formed by government, but by others at a 'higher' political/economic level, something that I have been going on about for some time. Good.

Our government has sold out, in almost every respect of policy be it political, economic or social, this is pretty obvious, though it is the scale of the treachery that is so breathtaking. The silly little rows and arguments about who did or did not go to a Christmas party, who paid for a bit of painting and decorating are just distractions for the children.

The party and subsequent lies are symptomatic of a self entitled contempt for us mere
mortals ingrained in a section of the Tory party which after 11 years in power have degenerated into corruption and sleaze .

The “ think tanks “ I allude to are a cabal of the wealthy elite supported by the right wing of the British press - epitomised by The Telegraph, Sun and Daily Mail .
That they are now turning on Johnson is clear. Who they have lined up next I hardly dare guess.

I do not subscribe to the idea there is some sort of satanic , blood drinking cult behind world government .
