Good morning one and all. A few words.

A few weeks ago, events unfolded over 4 or 5 days that left Mrs AFC and myself devastated. We were 'in pieces', disengaging from the world totally for some time.

Even now, some weeks later as we try to return to something like normal, we remain somewhat subdued but are doing the best that we can under the circumstances.

There were no other people involved and we consider what happened to be private, so it is not something that I shall be explaining or discussing anytime soon.

Thanks to those of you who asked after me, that was very kind. I shall be trying to re-engage on here (and elsewhere) in due course, please feel free to offer abuse in the normal manner... ;)

Thanks. Johnson is a huge disappointment, not in himself, not that much was expected, but in the way he has constructed his government and allowed outside globalist elements to take total control of this country.

I have said this many times, but my hope was for Johnson to be the 'larger than life' figurehead of a more conservative government run by people more competent than he in dealing with the EU, economic matters and social issues.

Even before the covid it became apparent that this was not going to happen, a cabinet full of 'yes men' (of all genders) and those bought off by cabinet jobs. Sad.

Welcome back buddy, I am sorry to hear life has gave you a jolt, no words will heal you , just time I hope with soften the pain. In the meantime we have a war to fight so stiff upper lip and shoulders back.

Yet you allowed our freedom
of movement and right to protest to be curtailed without a murmur ? Have you seen Patels police and crime bill ?

If everyone stopped whinging and got vaccinated it would help freedom to be restored much more quickly.

( Before anyone starts - I am not for mandatory vaccination )

War is a very emotive word, there are disagreements, nothing more than that.
Mention war and then we move in to traitors and lampposts.

Why would everybody getting vaccinated restore freedom? We told you it would not stop at two week to flatten the curve, or if the vulnerable got vaccinated. We told you there would be Vaccine passports. This is nothing to do with health, this is about control, look at Australia that is what they want world wide. More people are killed from road accidents that the latest variant but they do not ban cars.

There is a war on our freedoms as real as any war this country as ever fought.
 
At some point, you have to decide what you believe in and what you are prepared to do to maintain it.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

"We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm."

I am not a violent man but we may be getting close to the thoughts of Jefferson and Orwell.
