If they were serious about pollution then the first thing they would do is make pubic transport free, heavily subsidised trains, and buses and tubes free for everyone. But that wont happen, because it’s about making money not solving the problem.

I look at it from the.point of view that our carbon effect is minimal compered to the
USA, USSR CHINA, INDIA, PAKISTAN who still build or use coal fired systems without a care ....we on the other hand are going balls up for Zero which will kill this country economically and its my belief that zero carbon will cost the earth to maintain and
is probanly unattainable. But I wont be here l'll be long gone from thid mortal toil

You can't ban all traffic, who makes deliveries, what about people with disbalities, trades people etc. Other than that, I agree.

Yes you can. If central London is overcrowded, remove the reason for the overcrowding. Shut the businesses down, relocate them elsewhere. None of it makes sense. Businesses and local authorities spending money to increase footfall while charging folk extra to visit the businesses and services and then folk are called out when they see through the bullshit. If folk are suffering in densely populated areas then remove the reason for others to visit or pass through those areas.
