ULEZ

Who’s stopping anyone travelling g? It's about making as many services and amenities available within 15 minutes as possible to reduce travel by car.
Surely that will inevitably lead to restriction of choice and therefore increased cost. Or maybe we're talking state owned food shops to make sure there is consistency.

I don’t understand why they need to monitor it. If,as bookclub stated it’s about making amenities local to everyone they can just do it. Support the infrastructure etc and everyone’s happy.

See above, Jackie & dickie have probably been reading 'The Light'.
According to Alice and her friends the world elites want to eredicate cars and mandate bikes for everyone. Libertarians like Farage, and Laurence Fox are against 15 minute cities. Hard right Jordan Peterson is also against them. James Melville told his followers that 15 minute cities would mean 'urban incarceration', he reckoned neighbourhoods would be spearated by barbed wire and anyone wanting to leave would require a GQ code/Covis passport and a face recognition scan. There was a protest against 15 minute cities in Oxford, Patriotic Alternative and others were in attendance.

If those mentioned above are against something then you know you're doing something right.
Libertarians. Hard right. Patriotic Alternative. :ROFLMAO::LOL::love::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::poop:

Depends on how fast you cycle, and does that include the 20 minutes it takes to get your lycra on and off again?

Sainsbury's local charge more than the big stores
Aldi are the cheapest Asda not far behind - clearly value for money doesn't matter to the well to do Londoner
Morrisons own label spag bog is the nicest
What no Waitrose in the posh bit of London

Just checked, Sainsbury's superstore, Morrisons, Asda and Aldi all within 15 minutes. Waitrose is 26 minutes.

The 15-minute city is an urban planning concept in which most daily necessities and services, such as work, shopping, education, healthcare, and leisure can be easily reached by a 15-minute walk or bike ride from any point in the city. This approach aims to reduce car dependency, promote healthy and sustainable living, and improve wellbeing and quality of life for city dwellers.

Not sure what's so controvrsial about that.
Nothing controversial about it at all

But it is complete bollocks though

Can you a family of four's weekly shop on a push bike?
You buy fruit and veg only once a week?
Get a bulk delivery* of tins, fruit juice and bog roll every few weeks. I cycle and pick up whatever else we need when we need it.
When I was in the office all week I'd stop off on the way home witha very large back pack.
When I reach the age where I can't carry the stuff on my hips/back I'll buy a cargo bike.
Mrs H sometimes uses the car once a month to go to the local sainsbury's and pick all the things she fancies for the next month that you forget about, if she thought of them ahead and made a shopping list I'd pick them up. We didn't have a car until 5 years ago so like many people in Central London you find a way of shopping that works for you.

It's not difficult

* Yes I know we sometimes get a delivery that involves a vehicle and sometimes use a car (that we share). shock horror

Remember Russia Gate, what was you saying about that ? and mask - they way were great as well weren't they. Do you not get fed up of being wrong ?

you really have the worst track record on this board ever to be honest, l sometimes think you must get paid to say such stupid things.

It depends if Hard Right Alternative White Male Vampires support it.
If they do, he's agennit.
If they're dead against it, he's forrit.
I love making him look a twat. It’s not the first time I’ve had him vanishing up his own arsehole and it won’t be the last 😂😂

Do you drive the car?

Is the car on the Mobility scheme?

I have Pen 4 on ignore as he's a racist idiot
I just (normally) don't bother replying to diagonals. You keep trying and it must frustrate you to hell but surely even you've realised I effectively have you on ignore.
I continue you to read your inane ramblings as you amuse me.

I'd copy you and put some laughing emojis but it's a bit sad to laugh at your own post imo.

You mean to say you don't make your own Spag Bog from scratch?

So you do have a car on the Mobility scheme. That's fine BTW - just don't get why you would choose to hide it.

I don’t usually bother replying to googly eyed cunts either.

don’t understand why they need to monitor it
What monitoring? This isn't some DS conspiracy to restrict freedom of movement, it's an attempt to reduce car use and longer journeys. It's not some panacea, some people will still use diesel cars, it's about reduction, not stopping everything. And yes, mining for Lithium and the production of electric cars causes pollution, but over the lifetime of the cars, less pollution than fossil fuel driven cars.

I’ve switched off ignore and now I’m wondering why.
I/we don’t have a car on the mobility scheme so I’m not hiding it. What made you think we had?
FYI my wife isn’t able to drive to and from work, too far and tiring, so she gets cabs and trains. She can claim back for using cabs but only if you don’t have a car on the mobility scheme.
She purchased the ULEZ complying car.

Okay so within 15 minutes from my house by bike or on foot are plenty of shops, schools, doctors and a big park. My work though is an hour on public transport away so that won’t work for me.
