But they don’t set the lying agenda
They should have you sectionedBut they don’t set the lying agenda
I think you’re overreacting a little there - the majority that work for the NHS (whether frontline or management) do it out of generally wanting to help people. But they don’t set the lying agenda
Can’t imagine yuppy flu existing in Coventry in the 80s.Think they called yuppy flu in the 80’s.
ME, myalgic encephalomyelitis or if you prefer, Chronic fatigue syndrome.Think they called yuppy flu in the 80’s.
You funny personShut up you stupid bloody fool . You need locking up you vile
moron
if I use the NHS do you think I will come into contact with the liars ? Of course I won’t so stop talking out of your arse.I think you’re overreacting a little there - the majority that work for the NHS (whether frontline or management) do it out of generally wanting to help people.
Still, the next time you need to use the NHS, do tell us what their reaction is when you tell them they are “liars” - after all, you’re always boasting on here about how you have no qualms about telling people what you think of them, face-to-face.
Might explain some of your anger over the past week then. You funny person

In fact I fell off a roof last week broke my thump and possibly fractured my arm plus quite a few other injuries, I didn’t go hospital or doctors as it’s now not the place to be, in fact it’s dangerous there. Hospitals visits, I believe are the third worst course of death.
Why ?Might explain some of your anger over the past week then.
Why not? Can’t imagine yuppy flu existing in Coventry in the 80s.
If he wasn’t such a nasty piece of work you’d almost feel sorry for him . How does a grown man become so radicalised ?You funny person

I don’t suppose it occurs to your radicalised addled brain that people go to hospital when they are seriously ill and sometimes die ? A level of idiocy hard to measure .You funny person

The only difference between 'Covid' and a regular 'flu' season is the reporting.
Did you take a look at the analysis in the Vernon Coleman video posted on another thread?and the excess death rate.
which, despite what you regularly post, 2020 was not in line with recent years, or "marginally" worse.
Adamuss, do you seriously believe this latest lockdown was a lockdown. Someone who has worked as normal through both “lockdowns” this second one didn’t come close to the first one.i guess if you want to explain it away by labeling it a year with double the winter virus seasons when compared with every other year, then that would work.
but if i was to spin stats in that way i think you'd (rightly) call foul.
anyway, if it is truly a 'normal' winter virus then shouldn't the fact we were all locked down for a large portion of the winter season, and hopefully all taking more personal hygiene precautions, result in a much lower death rate - not a much much higher one?
it's either a normal thing, in which case the death rate should be normal.
or its a novel thing, in which case special measures to protect people until it is 'not novel' are appropriate.

Thank you for the considered reply.i guess if you want to explain it away by labeling it a year with double the winter virus seasons when compared with every other year, then that would work.

So your level of understanding of a subject is 'if it doesn't happen to me, it's not true'?Adamuss, do you seriously believe this latest lockdown was a lockdown. Someone who has worked as normal through both “lockdowns” this second one didn’t come close to the first one.
Mixing with hundreds of people in my working environment over the last 18 or so months and whilst a few workers have tested positive for covid not one has become seriously ill. That is the only fact I know to be a fact and tells me how I should respond to this so called epidemic.
A pandemic is a world event not ambulance useage in Leicester ?To me a pandemic is a huge increase in deaths, the constant sound of an Ambulance and the nightingale Hospitals actually being used. If you take the death figures from the Government sites and compare it, like for like against previous years then this was no pandemic. Argue all you like most here will never accept it whatever the evidence presented.

155 million is the very conservative estimate of infections currently and 3.4 million deaths is the number of dead - again probably many many more . We are currently in the worst month of infections since the start .
Thankfully vaccination at least inEurope may prevent the deaths rising to the 50 million of 2018- 2021. pandemics usually rage for 2-3 years . We can only hope science has spared us the carnage of a century a
