As I once suggested can we separate Politics from conspiracy ? It’s hardly the same thing .
Then the many Roofers who enjoy political discussion and current affairs without abuse and nonsense might join in more .
 
You cannot seperate the two. It's impossible. As soon as you suspect that a politician might not be telling you the truth, you are entering into the realms of conspiracy.

In fact, most of your posts reflect this when you talk about Boris Johnson's motives, the Tory Party's lies and their real motives. It's the same when you discuss their policy and refer to them, not as straight-forward guys, but as traitors. It is the same when you talk about Presidents wearing daipers.

It would just be lovely if posters could 'read the room' , recognise what each thread is/is not, and try to keep it in that spirit.

The first post after you moved it shows why that is not possible on the Politics forum, IMO.
 
So you want a politics forum with no cut and thrust, but quiet reflection and, I'm guessing, a lot of agreement.
You want a politics forum that doesn't involve ANY whiff of conspiracy.
You don't want any disagreement that sails into nastier waters.
And you want a 'way beyond politics - non-conspiracy' forum too, possibly.

All that while being able to jump on any thread in this forum and attempt to destroy it with snide remarks, embarrassing “jokes” from the ‘80’s. Demanding proof on a conspiracy thread. Making up users names like cowards to pile in on an individual. Threaten legal action when they get shit dished back at them and cry like babies when they don’t like being shown what a cock they are.
