Real life scenario...Tier4 restrictions

I work with my brother in law.
We can car share to work.
We can work together all shift socially distancing **where possible
** if it's not possible to socially distance then we don't have to.
He cannot come into my house.
I cannot go into his.
We cannot go to the pub together.

But you lot think I shouldn't question this ridiculous tier bollocks?
Really?
Even a 5 year old can see it's a load of old horse shit yet you're all having hissy fits when folk question it, point out how ridiculous it is and decide to ignore it.

It’s nonsense . Total lockdown is the only way . Trying to balance the measures for economic reasons is clearly not working . Lockdown and concentrate everyone’s efforts on getting vaccine out .
nyone refusing can stay inside for a couple of years.
Be over by June . I suspect our useless government will carry on pandering to the nutters and dithering so we will be in and out of this for another couple of years till half a million are dead and herd immunity kicks in as in 1920.

So it's finally sinking in.
Remember, it's not about following some "rules" that are sensible, it's all or nothing.
I'm choosing nothing because the rules are bollocks.
If you choice is all yet you know it's bollocks then you carry on carrying on.

But fair play, you replied. You'll see this as a trend but when the woke looney left get caught out they just ignore it or come up with irrelevant shit. Watch bookclub mistry and hackney, they're masters at it. 👍🏻

A lot of the rules don't make sense, but it's people carrying on regardless as if they're some sort of freedom fighters that mean the rules will have to stay in place for longer as it continues to spread.

So your saying that the rules, which by your own admission a lot don't make sense, should be followed and this will make it all go away quicker?
Tell me the rules that make sense that are not countered by rules that make no sense whatsoever.
If you were stupid like Urino Heap I could sort of understand it. But clearly your not, re read what you've just posted.
You know that a lot of these rules are utter bullshit. Actually bordering on ridiculous yet you go along with them because otherwise the government will keep the ridiculous rules in for longer.
That is in effect what your saying.

So, rules such as being allowed to have some family round for Christmas day. What difference does it makes, once you've made contact, if it's one day or a week? Weird.

However, putting rules in place to limit people's interactions with others, to prevent the spread does make sense. In my opinion it's continuing to spread because people are still going round each others houses, meeting up, not wearing masks in shops etc

We differ as I'm prepared to believe what people who work in hospitals say. It's coming from too mane different sources for it be made-up Govt propaganda.

So they're catching it because they're not wearing masks in shops or going around each other's houses. Not catching it at work or kids bringing it home from school?

It seems to me we have 2 options,
1. Accept a full properly enforced lockdown for a few months and pray even this lot can find a reasonably competent person to manage the vaccine rollout or, -
2.We carry on in and out of partial lockdowns and accept it may take up to 2 years to return to normal .

But those are the main places where people are mixing under this governments rules. In fact can't you be fined for not sending your kids to school and if your classed as a key worker, like supplying B and M for example you can't furlough if your worried and you get ssp if you actually have to isolate for whatever reason.

Peru hard lock-down, super-strict - lauded.
Brazil lockdown overturned by president - super-criticized.
So Peru will naturally have waaaaay fewer deaths per million than Brazil. Right? Right?

Peru 1,130 dpm
Brazil 866 dpm

Going to keep running first lockdown did not work
Who is going to pay the self employed to stay at home can’t keep dishing out funny money

This has become quite absurd. It is like arguing with real hard core marxists or religious fundamentalists.

Their total belief and acceptance of the establishment line is astonishing. People die from various illnesses during the winter months, mostly respiratory diseases, what we, until this year, referred to as 'seasonal flu'. This was a catch all term that included influenza, any corona virus that might be around, pneumonia and other illnesses that mostly effected older people.

This is what we are experiencing now, quite possibly exaggerated by various lockdowns and the withdrawal of NHS services from non covid cases. Any moderately severe 'flu season' in modern times, if subjected to the same media scrutiny and cack handed management would yield similar results.

For this we are destroying the economic and social structure of this (and other) countries and some are applauding the government for doing so. Clearly you can fool most of the people....

I didn't realise flu season was March and April, as well as December onwards.

Can be anytime through the winter months, Mrs AFC was a high end Nurse practitioner running nursing services in a west London 6 doctor group practice.

Organising for 'flu season' was a big part of her job.

As I explained earlier, I am using the term 'seasonal flu' to include seasonal viruses and other similar contagious illnesses, as was usual prior to 2020.

1 This full lockdown shite .....what about the 7/8 million key workers ? We will just carry on then
2 unless you close schools completely you ain't stopping any virus

Why do you constantly compare apples to oranges? The strength of conviction in an argument has nothing to do with the validity of the subject matter. Please engage in a round of self-criticism, Dorset.

You'll be stronger for it.
