Disappointing signings

Depends on your interpretation of disappointment.

Is it disappointment in the sense some thought he had a modicum of talent, or disappointment that the club actually signed a reserve team player from Gillingham and played him in the PL?

I booed him on debut, midweek at the Dell and got untold grief off a load of folk around me. "Give him a chance" was the gist of their sycophantic loyalty. I wasn't disappointed we signed him I was furious, dumbfounded and embarrassed.

The rumour was that it was gonna be Lineker, but he scored a hat-trick against Carlisle so changed it to Melrose!!

I was disappointed we got Phil Gee and Ormandroyd in the swap with Kitson.

Until they helped destroy the shaggers a few weeks later under lights.
