Anyone staying up for the early results?

I watched Sky TV 's newspaper review program last night. They showed just about every newspapers headlines starting with the predictable Daily Mirrors anti Trump tirade. The Guardian, Mail, Metro , The I, Evening Standard, The Times, The Independent and a few others were referenced.
The 3 guests then gave their opinions, yet 1 paper was missing. The one that like it or not sells the most copies on the streets of Britain.
Why? I am not asking for anyone to agree with what they print, but where is the balance ? You can replicate this type of thing on many other events, whether it's Question Time, the general reporting of news, or radio programs. So often loaded in a certain direction.
There is no disputing that The S*n sells the most newspapers on the street, but, they sell nowhere near as many as they claim.
Thousands of there papers are left on the shelves every day, and are usually given away free with any purchase after lunch, especially in garage shops.

But they still sell the most, and Sky TV didn't show it. It's like a football program discussing the title race without mentioning Liverpool. You might detest Liverpool but you can't ignore the fact they are there.

If the football programme was sayingLiverpool only need 7 players to win the title and all the other teams cheat and don't have any tactics etc etc their commentary becomes irrelevant

Newspapers or social media will always have a bias applied, the articles are written by people with opinions however balanced they think they are. If they just reported the news with no comment the nobody would buy a paper or follow someone on social media.
Depending on where you are on the political spectrum is how you view judge whether the media is too liberal or too conservative.
The BBC is a prime example, plenty think it's in the grip of the left yet recent political commentators have been members of the tory party.
Stopped watching BBC TV news . The false equivalence they apply as they’re so desperate to be impartial leaves them toothless . Today programme is better now the Tory/ Brexit cheerleader Humphries has gone . Remains 3 hours of pretty informative stuff

Many voters got sick of seeing there vote being endangered and endorsed it in the election. They didn't all vote for Boris they voted because they were sick of people telling them they had got it wrong.Anyway you can say the remainers believed all the left wing media.
It’s believing folks appearing on the media who actually know what they are talking about . For instance I think the ex head of The WTO knows more about world trade than Tim Martin and the head of the Irish border force knows more about customs regulations than Nigel bloody Farage . Road Hauliers know more about the Uks supply lines than some Murdoch hack. The media often let us down by suggesting this sort of false equivalence . In the case of Brexit it is about to cost us all very very dear.

Will be interesting to see the impact of President Biden, on the Brexit process. He is proud of his Irish roots and a staunch defender of the Good Friday Agreement. Looks like No Deal, becomes Deal...
