Update on Micky.

Ah Micky. The absolute best of us, a heartfelt thank you for all the work you've put in over the many years to give us our corner of the internet to play in. We certainly didn't deserve it.

I've just returned home after a short holiday to this so, so, sad news. I only met you a couple of times Micky, but your warm-hearted humour is a lasting memory for me.
"God bless you Micky", and I'm sure he will.
Having helped nurse my own father through very similar circumstances, my heart felt thoughts and prayers are with you Carly, and the rest of your family.

@carlyhoss please remind your Dad about promoting Budgie. That alone is legendary. We were certainly at concerts together at the De Montford hall. He would have been one of the big blokes I was in awe of, and still am. He needs to write a book about his amazing life.
 
I am so very sorry to hear this, such terrible news. As above, thoughts & best wishes to all those close to Micky and of course to Micky himself.
 
Sad news.
We never met, but have had a few message exchanges. Always came across as a great bloke.
My thoughts with you and your family.
 
I'll bet that no-one else on here will head off to the big Kop in the sky having done so much for so many fellow City fans, regardless of whether they actually met you.
We all owe you a huge "Thank you" for The Roof, and everything that it means to us.
