There was a very infectious disease about .
I wore a mask when I thought I would be in a situation where I might put others at risk .
I was vaccinated as it was likely my chances of not becoming seriously ill would be improved .
I generally complied with lockdown rules as the science - NOT the politicians suggested we would be back to normal quicker.
None of the retrospective knowledge about Covid makes me regret those choices .
What never worried me in the slightest then or now , is the hysterical nonsense posted on here by the likes of bnet or Dickie , about the dangers of the vaccine or the idea we would somehow be locked down for ever . Both of these things of course were utter drivel .

For instance . Johnson’s utter failure to address the situation and ignore what was coming soon enough made lockdown inevitable . The disgraceful situation created in care homes made thousands of the elderly canon fodder . The third lockdowns ridiculous inconsistencies etc etc
