Sunak pushes back ban on petrol/diesel cars til 2035 .....

the cunts telling everyone that is mums from Leicester now, could you hate a man any more ?

The Tories have gone all Mad Max. They'll be requiring all cars to be fitted with fuel injected V12s by 2030, only one person per car, and raising the residential speed limit to 150mph.

... depsite Ford saying this doesn't work for them from a business point of view.

Clown
Surely all he's done is to delay the change, not stop it. People simply cannot afford the pace of change. There is a cost of living g crisis engulfing us. Moreover I hope common sense will prevail in that the Bio Fuels which are zero polluting, have already been developed, can use existing infrastructure and burn in IC engines are seen as the future, not the expensive EV cobblers which just move the polluting out of sight.

You weren't being forced to scrap your car or your boiler and replace with electic car or hydrogen boiler, they just wouldn't make them from 2030.

I thought we were talking about the delay in banning petrol and diesel vehicle manufacture? Also you point out that 'Industry disagrees' why then did Jaguar Land Rover call the announcement 'pragmatic' and 'brings the UK into line with other countries'?

Jaguar agree, Ford disagree.

Ford haven’t made cars here for 20 years, looks like they were looking for someone to blame when they close their engine plant at Halewood
