I don't think we have great leadership or any real level of controlled aggression in the current squad so I doubt they'll discover that soon. I am less sure that lack of motivation is so much of an issue than as a squad the fact that the first choice look spent & running on empty at times and many of the replacements don't offer much hope (though I continue to believe Cannon is a much better bet than the alternatives & I'd like to see Marcal considered from the bench too given some of the struggles of our current wide men).Well yeah but the general idea is to attack the opposition not tease them into submission, we’re a one trick donkey and if we don’t get some leadership, motivation and aggression then we’ll suffer a slow painful death
When the oppo are able to organise we just don't have it in our legs to move them around & create space the way we were at the start of the season but that same tiredness as well as limitations in the squad is in my view making a different attacking game plan equally challenging though obviously there is a reticence from the manager to even try it (though as mentioned elsewhere the attempts to hit it long last night hardly suggest that should be plan B).
It looks and feels like we're limping to the line. Personally I still feel we will probably fall short as it stands.
