oooh, now there's a thoughtIts a good project for the right manager with some time. Not dissimilar to when NFP took over.
It was NFP and the whole set up including proper scouts that got us promoted. The club at the minute is rotten. Its a good project for the right manager with some time. Not dissimilar to when NFP took over.
Agreed Swabian. A fair number of those have given us spectacular service. Rogers and/or injury killed them offOf course, there are some duffers on there. However, some of them were spectacular successes, and I'd like to think the ratio of great to poor transfers is similar for many clubs.
What killed us a bit was everything from 2021 onwards. The good ones dried up.
George ThomasAssuming we're including loanees too (which it appears we are)... Ryan Bennett!
17/18... who's Thomas? We didn't buy Luke did we?

That's made me a sick. Can you imagine fielding a team using the last 11 brought in:
Smithies
Kristiansen
Faes
Soutter
Vestergaard
Bertrand
Tete
Soumare
Under
Daka
Lookman
The only one I'd say who'd possibly perform is Lookman and Rodgers didn't rate him did he.
And what makes it worse is that lot probably think they're too good to be playing in the championship.
Now they were players!!!Prior to all this our recruitment was not too bad, so what went wrong? My understanding is that a number of scouts left along with recruiters. What we did well and worked, we seemingly left behind. Fkkkin grim ain’t it!!
Ulloa
Caglar
Vardy
Cambiasso ect ect
I think I agree - if you leave character out of it. Fofana just used us as a cushy rehab centre; and when the tide turned, Tielemans packed his bucket and spade and went home. I actually think Fofana shafting us did a massive amount to destabilise us on the field. Tielemans built up some credit, not so Fofana in my view. Undoubted class as a player, none as an individual. Once they've done something for you, you can stomach them going mardy and shoving off - or at least I can ( see the case of Mahrez, for whom I have some vestige of affection) -but Fofana, I have to look away when he's on screen. Pees me off to think that he wore the shirt.Of the last 18 players we’ve signed only Tielemans and Fofana were of the required calibre.
The rest have been a disaster in terms of outlay and return.
Fofana did the same at St Ettienne and they got relagated, with Puel in charge. Some pattern there!!I think I agree - if you leave character out of it. I think Castagne has been decent until the last few months. I k ow you don't rate him but there's a decent player in JJ if he could stay fit.Of the last 18 players we’ve signed only Tielemans and Fofana were of the required calibre.

Absolutely!!!!! Top is not a footballing man or expert on how to run a club, he just got fast tracked into the seat with Vichai passing away. Rudkim and the rest of the management team have really taken the pisss and let everyone down. Still hasn’t sunk on with me that LCFC will be playing in the lower leagues from this year on. It’s quite sickening and was really honestly avoidable. The buck stops at Rudkin a fraudster if ever there was one !
I honestly don’t want to know.guess how much was spent on agent fees ???
Top needs to sell and move onPoor from top to bottom.
Forget Palace Seagrave it's a great facility that any club would be proud of.
It's just been badly managed by the previous incumbent.
Surely it's time for Top to rid himself of yes men and women and put in place new appointments.
but most of the people that buy clubs these days are not football people, they still rely on other people with more footballing nous than them to make those kinds of decisions, they just front up the money for the business.Top needs to sell and move on
