Man Utd Match Thread

Who are you to tell him not to go and to my knowledge Bnet does go plenty of games so just pipe down
He was the one who said he didn't want to go. You can't just not go to games if the teams going through a rough patch. Anyway he probably will and he's just being a drama queen again 😂

Small comment on concrete feet. Second goal he could defo have helped.

But the third, when I expected to see him appear in shot as Wilson ran through - in hindsight he thought that castagne was going to get there first, so was heading backwards in order to give himself space to receive the backpass.
Only castagne badly underhit it, and suddenly schmeichel looks really poorly positioned by being so far away from the attacker.

The trouble is you can pick out dozens of incidents from these last two matches where players abilities become questionable there were a plenty last Friday from marking to short passes to slow movement and decision making

He was a big part to blame for the 3rd. Normally don’t catch motd if we’ve been poor but watched it this morning & lineker & shearer analysed it perfectly ( inbetween laughing) showed time & time again how high up the pitch our line of defence were in the game. When we lost the ball on the edge of Newcastle’s box our 3 defenders were 6-10 yards in Newcastle’s half (against a bloody side who have serious pace up front)
They said if you are going to play that way the keeper has to be a sweeper, he has to be outside his box & where was he??? Yeah you guessed it trying to stay on side against the goal line.

I just fucking hate Friday night games. We seem to get a disproportionately big number of graveyard shifts and we usually perform badly

Solskjær has said Manure will have to make wholesale changes for tomorrow night's game. Slabhead is deffo out (knock him if you must but the minutes he missed yesterday were the first he'd missed in the League since joining, so he must be doing something right) but we'll miss Evans more than they'll miss him.

As good a time as any to play them then (with them up against Liverpool on Thursday night)? If they don't win they'll hand the title to Man. City so they won't roll over obviously. It's 'shit or bust' time for us, we have to go for it big time. Let's hope we're not shit (again) and go bust.

Fofana is going to be fucked. 6pm kick off and Eid not ending until the following day. Not good at all. At all - especially with Evans out of it.

Just pray they don’t hold anything back thinking of Saturday, because there’s never a guarantee that you’ll win the next game, even if we played brilliant on the day.

Apparently looks like diallo & shoretire are likely starters for Man Utd tomorrow so says ole. I like the sound of those 2 guys (please don’t be bloody wonder kids)

Not sure how true but this is the side we are rumoured to be playing against tomorrow, never heard of half of them, no Evans for us sadly...

Can see cavani starting beens as he didn’t yesterday. Hope he doesn’t.
& what’s wrong with James? Thought he’d been having a fair few minutes these last few weeks.

I don't care what team we put out tomorrow just as long as they are awake
and up to speed instead of a group of people on a scenic tour.
Whatever they put out is gonna be a useful outfit regardless.

I do wonder if Olly might make a lot of changes tonight to make a statement back to the Premier League.

I just wish the League was beyond them mathematically. It would make everyone’s decisions much easier.

Most of their fans expect them to change virtually the whole 1st eleven from Sunday. They don’t seem to care either - they just really, really want to beat Liverpool on Thursday.

The scheduling of this game as the middle one of three in five days has offered us a massive opportunity to save our season - please, please let’s not fuck this up.

He surely has no choice but to make changes.
It may have been different if they didn’t have another game say 5-7 days after this evenings, but to have another one again 2 days later is the key.
As for making a statement to the premier league with regards to integrity & all that, he could do with being reminded that it was the fault of the club he represents why this situation has arisen.

I hope there won't be any protests tonite at old traffart, I don't want us caught up in that shit to disrupt our week.
