Agree again, the infrastructure in this country is now an afterthought with the bare minimum supplied. It's what you get when housing policy is determined by the market only.
Not sure there's anywhere near enough brownfield sites to satisfy demand. Our village has no brownfield area at all. The house opposite me was demolished to make way for five large houses that were crowbarred in. And don't get me started on the inferior, cheap quality of the new housing stock being thrown up now, both in terms of interior space but as important the lack of living space around the buildings themselves. Another victim of housing driven by the market.
Don't forget your/my house would've been opposed by many as too much development when they were built.
Not sure it's solely a Lib Dem thing either
