County

They must be desperate, or want to try before they commit for longer. He did a great job for the Foxes as a player, maybe not so great as a coach but with limited resources.
Going to miss Ackermann next season. I would have broken the bank to keep him.
Most of the Hants coaches have gone to the 100 so they needed someone. Yes, Ackermann will be a loss, Wright is replaceable with Hull and I'm not too fussed about Parkinson leaving.

Looks like the club are taking this trophy seriously, if they can make the semi's and final then lift the profile a bit.

Sean Jarvis appears to be doing a good job down there.

I not sure Wright is easily replaced, very economical and takes wicketo in both county and one day games, Ackerman has hit a rich vein of form and has a touch of class, agree about Parkinson average in my opinion.
Depending on overseas, I think we need a strike bowler who will not be easy to find and middle order batsmen, is Handscomb returning ? Mulder? All in all things appear to be looking up, but we have seen it all before.

I agree but he is 38 and bodies can break, anyway two years in Sussex by the Sea, he deserves it

Agree about Wright, very hard to replace and a model pro. A real disappointment he couldn't be sold a player coach role. Hull's only 18 so needs the guidance.

I hope we get Hanscombe back. He was only a late addition but has been great. Also agree about Parkinson, not all that and I like the look of young Ramji as another leggie coming through.

Ackerman is a loss but can blow hot and cold. Securing Patel on a longer contract was much more important given his age and form.

We need a replacement for both Wright and Ackerman but we are now not a bad proposition for the right senior pro when considering where we sit in the Championship and also the one day cup.

I hope they can convince Alfonso Thomas to stay, it seems like a happy ship. Not sure he hasn't been pulling the strings since Nixon's departure.

If they can really get the ground sorted it would be great. Looks really impressive from the artists impressions and could attract more talent.

He has put on a bit of timber these days but always plays with a big grin on his face.
His old drumming partner Ted McKenna was seriously under-rated. Sadly passed away a couple of years ago after what should have been a routine hernia op.

And another wobble.

164 for 4.

Budinger and Ackerman both out in quick succession

There’s a decent crowd down there today. The wicket seems pretty good too. It’s a competitive game. I hope we can get over the line.

That was a hard watch, shit stream and the County trying to chuck it away. Onwards and upwards
