I agree.

I doubt anyone thought in football that Forest would do any good when promoted to the Prem, but a year later they have recruited and now look comfortable in the Prem.

Regarding the County, apart from the T20 this must surely have been one of the best seasons they have had for quite a while.
There have been disappointments but in general they have been much more competitive.
 
Firstly a defeat is a defeat but how close was that to the third highest ever run chase in County Championship history!! Sussex knew it too giving us all sorts of verbal on the field to try to put us off.

It should still give us a real boost for the cup final this weekend. Not as much as a win would have done but a boost of confidence nonetheless.

I’d have taken this at the start of the day today, and certainly after the first innings.

Win the cup and my god it’s been a successful season.

We've come on leaps and bounds in the 4 day. Patel, Ahmed, Mulder and Hanscombe singing up is great. Ackerman and Wright are the real blows leaving.

Scriven has come on no end, as has Patel. We are doing a lot right and A Thomas and J Taylor deserve a lot of credit. Not sure we need another lead coach if i'm honest, give them the joint reigns if they want it, they've obviously got the right culture going.

The thing is, there's not £100m on offer to help close the enormous gap. It'd take more than a couple of good players – on top of finding decent replacements for the correctly-identified big shoes of CW and CA – to get anywhere near competitive.

Justice was done to the cheating scumbags, it’s just not cricket.

Two sanctions from the same game is too many. What was their excuse? It all got a bit tense out there in a big game they had to win. Pathetic.

There’s no word of it on the Sussex website or their Twitter page. It seems they’re still covering it up.

I’d have rather us scored the extra 15 runs and secured the win. That would have been better justice.
 
24 hours on and still nothing on their website about the points deduction, Absolute cheats the lot of them. I cannot wait until next season.

Was it something brought in by Smith?
