Women’s Team

I know they run as totally separate entities, but I’m sure the toxic atmosphere of the men’s squad last season probably had some form of detrimental harm towards the ladies.

Your point being just what exactly?
My point is some on here say that women's football is worse than your average Sunday league park game , also why am I the only one identifying this second win for the team. I pressume that nobody cares how our only premier league team are doing. That's why.

You mean Women’s Super League I imagine. Who gives a flying f*ck what they do? I certainly don’.

Some say that women's football is worse than Sunday League but they are being harsh - I think that you will find that the issue is somewhat wider than than that.

Citing the fact that you are the only one to mention the win means nothing. This site is on its arse anyway. Both the Preston and Stoke fans sites generated miles more comment on their losses than we have on our wins. If the mens team fantastic start to the season can't generate traffic then the womens side ain't going to get much.

The women play in the 'Super' league.

That’s it you’ve got it. Yes we don’t give a fuck about women’s football. Why, because it’s not very good.

There are plenty of posts on here when the team loses.
The only thing people have to moan about at the minute is that they are bored with the way we are playing.

I’ve loved football from a very young age, but I have to say I have zero interest in the women’s game, even the City women’s team. I’d sooner watch our reserves or academy sides, or a lower league game. It’s simply not the same game.

As for the media’s promotion of the womens game, I get it, but I’d like to be able to avoid it, given my lack of interest, so I wish, for example, that the BBC would create a separate page for the women, rather than intermingle the two, which I find very annoying.

The reason they don’t do this is because they know there would be very little interest in it. So they mix it with the men’s game to force you to get used to it. I’m fucking out of there before they start waffling on.

You wouldn’t want him in the trenches with you. He’d be whinging about the mud and living conditions.
He wouldn't be in the trenches

He would be do doing a 'vital war work job' as far away from the sharp end as possible - and blaming your death on you.

I reckon every last one of us would be shitting ourselves and moaning about the conditions should we find ourselves ‘in the trenches’.
They didn't though - apart from a tiny tiny number

But they were stronger than many many of us

What I would say about women’s football is that, bearing in mind they’re supposed to be elite athletes, quite a number seem to have rather fat arses.
Can any of our resident experts explain that one?

Apparently it’s a size effect of too much rug munching, or summat like that..

cake !

Algar me old duck we ain't got a Premier League team since May.
Slip of the tounge there a bit, but whether you call it Super or Premier it's still higher ranked than a Championship league in my books. I am not a massive fan of our WSL ladies, but good luck to em.
