Women’s Team

I get it, but I’d like to be able to avoid it, given my lack of interest, so I wish, for example, that the BBC would create a separate page for the women, rather than intermingle the two, which I find very annoying.

But if you convolute a sports page with identical names for teams in different leagues, you create 'click bait'. All those accidental and mistaken web hits count as 'interest' in something no one is interested in.
And when you say, 'I don't want this advertisement jammed down my throat', you're met with a fallacy - you don't like women and wish them ill.

It's funny to watch it play out.

Slip of the tounge there a bit, but whether you call it Super or Premier it's still higher ranked than a Championship league in my books. I am not a massive fan of our WSL ladies, but good luck to em.
But surely not as a percentage of total participants.

They seriously want to get paid the same as men.

For this, it makes them just plain stupid. No one as explained to them, and it really shouldn't need explaining, that the money comes from the amount of people who watch mens football and the advertising and merchandise revenues.

It's fucking barking mad to be honest ! I'm all for them playing football, but don't demand that we watch it or worse, pay to watch it.
💯 agree, getting ridiculous now!!

The pass for the winning goal yesterday was a sublime piece of skill, the weight of pass was outstanding.

Doubt that anyone on here could play that pass.
But could any of them drink 6 pints then fart really loud and clear the room?

Some of them enjoy a slip of the tongue (allegedly)

Very credible 1-1 draw away against Yanited today. Scored first and came under a lot of pressure, but only conceded one and game away with a share of the points.

How the F.A must be gutted about that result.

They gave big brand Man United 10 minutes injury time to defeat lil ol' Leicester and to get the desired.........

I’ve loved football from a very young age, but I have to say I have zero interest in the women’s game, even the City women’s team. I’d sooner watch our reserves or academy sides, or a lower league game. It’s simply not the same game.

As for the media’s promotion of the womens game, I get it, but I’d like to be able to avoid it, given my lack of interest, so I wish, for example, that the BBC would create a separate page for the women, rather than intermingle the two, which I find very annoying.
They can’t don’t do that as it would naturally allow it to capitulate.

Obviously now every club is running a women’s team that must be running at a deficit, is this funded by ticket sales of the men’s team I wonder?
