Tielemans off to AV

Villa is his level. He's huffed and puffed through his career with us, he thinks he's Barcelona, I'm calling a fraud. He's good but he's not that good! Great goal at Wembley but not on the legends list.

So who is on your legend list? Worthington and Weller? I can see why but they never won a thing.
They’re in mine but so too are are the PL and FA Cup winners and those that got to a CL quarter final. They may not be the most gifted, may not have given their all every week but between them they gave me the best moments I’ve ever had as a Leicester fan. I will always applaud them on their return.
 
To suggest this bloke is a legend is a joke.To be a legend you need to put in performances over a period of time
This bloke has been having a laugh for two seasons He gets the club his talent deserves

A few worldly goals doesn't make a legend for me, FA Cup win or not. Izzet was probably my favourite ever player and gave more than Tielemans over a longer period of time. I don't know what happened in the contract negotiations but Youri could have easily signed an extension so we could sell him and if anyone thinks he threw himself into his last season(s) with us I'd question that. I don't think he's brilliant really and don't think his heart was in it towards the end. As I said, Villa is probably his level.

I’m replying to my own question here. I get the feeling he ran out of options. I’d suggest he’s on no more money at Villa despite going on a free which hardly ever happens. Going on a free at 26 would normally mean a lot more money if you’re any good. I suspect he’s very happy living in Quorn and has gone to Villa as it’s an easy commute.
I’m totally confused by this move and I suspect if we’d have survived he’d have signed a new contract with us. Be interesting to see if Emery plays him regularly or not.

My mate Youri sold his house here in The Republic about six months ago LG. He was always going to move on this season. He's still living there at present (his 'n' hers flash Audis in the drive this morning as I walked by with the mutt) but will be moving on to leafy Handsworth sometime soon I don't doubt.

I agree his performances haven't been nearly consistent enough to attract a bid from a BCC, but I'm inclined to agree with Hackers as to where he sits in the pantheon of City favourites. He'll be forever remembered for that goal. Good luck Youri!

I think many will applaud him on his return to the King power (if it happens) but everyone has an opinion on who there legends are.
 
It’s well known ( among a select few) that YT shops in the local Co-Op buying only organically grown produce of the healthy variety.
An even more select few also know that he stops at the local newsagents to buy multi packs of Mars Bars to eat on the way home.
