Last one in the A-Z. Giving you 2 days to make up your minds. An A4 print of the A-Z Players in cigarette card format will be free when we send out the end of season printed paper 'The Roof' Fanzine

Totally impossible this. There are 5 IMO who’d easily win 80+% of the letters. My teenage heroes Frankie and Keith. Probably the best right back in our history in Whitworth. Mark Wallington, a stalwart over many many years and a fine goalie and the one, the only Steve Walsh. I’m not sure who to pick and know as soon as I’ve voted I’ll change my mind

Agree. Gone for Weller. How much would he be worth today? Pace, strength, crossed with either foot, goals and that hat trick v Liverpool

You might have put in Zagorakis in but this W is the biggest poser of the lot even Mike Whitlow deserved a mention but I've gone for Weller but it's a struggle between four

How can it be anyone else than Walshy? Man was an absolute lion for us over a decade and more at a time when we were on our arse as a team and a club, the memories of him staying out for an extra 10 mins practicing his headers pre match at Filbo, the lazarus like return to score the goals to end our Wembley hoodoo and send us to the Premier, the huge part he played in winning us that League Cup in 97, the goals he scored, the red cards, the obvious love he had and still has for us as a club.

I totally get the quality and enjoyment watching Frank and Keith, but this bloke gave our club every last drop he had.

Has to be Walsh for me as the others were before my time. Saw a commentary he was on, first game back after lockdown against Watford. He seriously had a bag-on when Watford equalised. He was fuming for the the rest of the broadcast. Clearly still cares deeply about us. Worthington, I understand was more of an entertainer. Reading his book, I felt he enjoyed his time at Bolton more than his time with us.

We have 1006 Members and on average only 80 people have voted on each poll. You need to get the Walsh party whips out. ps I agree with Walsh but I'm not allowed to vote

A few absolute legends in that lot.
Wally, Wortho, and Walshy. Did anyone give more to a football club than Walshy ?
Not of the greatest talent, but never left anything on the pitch. A true warrior and always committed to the cause.
Wallington was my childhood, I think he had been in goal for us for about 60 years hadn't he.......
For all these great Leicester icons, there can only be one though.
1975 against Liverpool. My first game, and an introduction to a life of stress, highs and lows, joy and despair, and a love affair that still burns brightly 46 years later. The man that started it all, the man that ignited an unquenchable passion, Keith Weller. A true Leicester legend, and sadly and tragically gone too soon.
If Keith looks down on us today, I hope he knows that after over 130 years of our clubs history, he rightfully takes his place amongst the finest of them

Pick one of about 8..... this a tough one

As an ex-goalkeeper, I loved Mark Wallington. He wasn't as good a Peter Shilton, but the man had personality and a sense-of-humour.

May be not our best ever goalie, but certainly Mark was one of our most loved players by those that stood behind him in the Kop every game

Think he lived in Syston or Queni ..... and used to go to the pub like regular folk
