Good evening all.
Busy few days including trips to see my ENT surgeon and my oncologist. Endoscope up the nose and down my throat to take a look at the sites of the tumors, which are looking good 3 years post surgery, very positive. Long chat with my oncologist, really just updating the prognosis and looking at prospects down the line. Due a CT Scan too but that might be a while.
Monday is an appointment with my cardiologist, my heart rate is reasonably stable and the rate is quite low, hoping to be able to reduce medication. Obviously the covid vaccine issue will be up for discussion too.
The point of this is that these issues impact on the decision about the vaccine.
In a sane world I would simply not have the vaccine, I do not believe that it conveys any medical benefit whatsoever and would make my choice on that basis. However the political pressure is immense, if we want to travel, and that is Mrs AFC's great love, we will need the passport.
So, if my cardiologist gives me the OK, then I have a simple decision, take the vaccine and accept any risks or refuse and stay in lockup.
