Sir Tom

His family said he had been living with them, while being treated for pneumonia.

He was only on medication for it.

The hospital admission was due to breathing difficulties, resulting from Covid and pneumonia.

Not quite what I heard, but the Tweet that suggested Covid was not 'detected' until after hospitalisation has 'disappeared'.

Pneumonia will give you breathing difficulties without any help from covid, it is very debilitating. Good Luck Sir Tom.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish between the truth and fake news, given that everyone seems to have an agenda. Or is everything just propaganda these days.

Like all the other fuckers they go in hospital with the flu or whatever health issues, then they suddenly get covid while in the hospital.

Err' you were saying

Somehow, I suspect Sir Tom would agree with Walt's non-political point.
But I agree that today is not the day for any row associated in any way with his incredible memory.

Please Filbo65, you are being just as bad, how can you possibly know what he would have thought. More point scoring.

Hence me bothering to type "I suspect", rather than making the standard "statement of fact" that tends to rule on here. I know a raft of old people who despair at the people who Walt obviously despairs at – like I do. Nothing to do with scoring points.
But like I said – not the time for a row.
That's the end from me.

I suspect (note this is an opinion) that Sir Tom's day was far more special being held in a castle/palace than in his back garden
