It's Got Very Boring Watching LCFC

It won't last. Snooze ball is not going to be tolerated for long if they don't get results.
Won six out of seven.
Hopefully we’ll change out Ndidi and KDH and it’ll all start to click.
Few more goals and everyone is a lot happier.

Easier said than done. I'll believe it when we actually play a good solid 90 minutes.

Agreed but it’s basically a new team playing a new way, need to give them time. It wouldn’t have gelled had they all come in before the season started, two of them today had only spent a few hours with their new team.
My nitpick is it's a new TEAM every week. Let them gel, stop swapping wingers on a match by match basis.

It's already been said but the manager has left a club with many incredible talents. Asking these players to try and replicate that style is a whole lot more challenging than where he came from.
We are now in the market for £5M - £15M players. That certainly doesn't guarantee a great player in the mad world of today's transfer market.

If your system doesn’t work try something different for a while, at least the opposition won’t know what to expect.

Elliott belts it into the channels for Heskey to chace.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see a goal kick smashed up towards half way a flick on and a shot on goal.
Someday that might become fashionable and save 5 minutes dicking about :ROFLMAO:

Funny actually that I was thinking the same about Newcastle at Brighton yesterday.
They fucked about with it so much at the back that they often got themselves in right trouble.
Seemed so obsessed by it that there were periods where Brighton really pinned them in.
Surely it needed that big hoof to get Brighton out of their box and not least keep them guessing on what they were actually going to do.

The fear is that it’s coming across as far too scripted. Taking far too much freedom from the players to express themselves.
A point in case that’s just come back to me was a few minutes before the break yesterday where the left back for hull had come deep into our half & had the ball taken off him close to the corner & he didn’t try to get up due to being knackered. So in turn there was a huge void where the left back would normally be with 2/3 of our lads in that area, but not one player reacted to it, we just slowly came out with the ball, gradually working our way across the other side of the pitch.
It was ridiculous decision making.

Their were a lot of empty seats in the main stand yesterday, Holidays may have something to do with it ,but I think myself included people have realised that football is a business and not entertainment.

Even when we win its like watching paint dry.
Is it me?
Shouldn't it be exciting?
It used to be.
The results are better because the opposition is weaker, but as for enjoyment, or lack of it, well it's cringingly like watching a Rodgers team "Perform"... 🤢

You want wins AND excitement. Let’s just keep the wins going first and then we can concentrate on the enjoyment.
It’s always made me laugh that WH have said for decades that it’s in their DNA to play exciting free flowing attacking football. They’ve just won their first trophy in 43 years and they’ve been awful for a lot of those years.

Ditto Newcastle

Well I hate it, Kendal and it bores me to death.
We didn't play that shite when we won the Premier League.
If thats what they want to serve up I'm tempted to tell LCFC to stick their Season Tickets up their bottoms.
And I never saw any of that tippy-tappy crap at Charlton v Coalville Town in the FA Cup last November. And the afternoon was all the better for it.

Soho.........
possession football has been around for years the ltalians virtually perfected it
Yes it's sterile, without quick movement and abilities to control in tight situations, it is designed to pull players out of position by movement its a product of the wall pass taken a step further IMHO

Yesterday instead of closing us down in our half, they just sat back and said pass it until you get tired. this meant with out movement from us, holes in their defence never appeared. The build up from us was to slow and predictable, It was like watching a game of walking football but slower. Saying that its early days and I think the new Don will get it right.

Puel ball then. Sit back and watch us until we give them the ball

As much as he was derided by the fans. De Sousa was similar. He tried to hard to implement a style of play the players couldn't adapt to.
