Because the UK has to bail itself out somehow. Have you seen the size of the deficit and the current level of borrowing. Expect a large increase in taxes.

You’re a bit silly aren’t you. If we stop importing cars built in the EU our car manufacturers will have trouble keeping up with demand. There is an £80 billion trade deficit with the EU, they have more to lose than us so why would they want to stop selling us their produce
 
Ah the old they need us more than we need them delusion. Next you’ll be telling me no deal won’t finish the fishing industry . (80% of our catch sold to EU )I also find it odd that the politicians whining about the economic effects of lockdown , are the same ones generally who pushed Brexit , which will do 4 times as much damage to our economy.

I think the tens of billions seeping away from London to Paris and Frankfurt will ensure the EU does very nicely from our national suicide .No country is going to be stupid enough to even dream of leaving watching our descent into international and economic disaster. Still as I said, good news for Moggy and the treacherous disaster capitalists along with the opportunistic politicians who sold you the lies .

Oh okay . It must all have been true . sorry. I’m sure Nigel Farage , Arron Banks. Michael Gove , Boris Johnson , Mogg etc . only had the best interests of working people at heart
 
I find it odd that so many people seem to be celebrating the destruction of the UK and our way of life. The EU debacle and now the covid nonsense will change our way of life beyond recognition.

That so many seem to relish this happening is, to me, quite astonishing. I have to admit that I thought that the people of this country had rather more about then than has proved to be the case.

I genuinely (and quite wrongly) thought that the government and the people of this country would make an effort, get off its collective arse and, led by an energetic and positive government, work towards building a better and more successful country for everyone outside the EU. I think that was a perfectly possible scenario had we cracked on after the referendum but we made no such effort.

Instead, our government made it quite clear to the EU that they would do everything possible to avoid leaving and would, by and large leave Brussels and Berlin very much in charge. We have had our country steadily dismantled and wrecked by a globalist controlled 'establishment' to suit the EU and their own purposes and the bulk of the British people have not just let it happen, but actually revelled in it.
