Coloured people. People of colour.

It's not all about you Dickie, the freedom of speech was referring to a post a couple below yours. Can't be arsed to quote them all.

And you'll find it's the "snowflakes" taking the knee that are the ones accepting equality. It's the ones who take umbrage at any sort of challenge to their privilege and comfort who are the snowflakes as they can't bear their position being challenged because people dare to want to be treated equally.
Apologies, I thought you quoted ME when you responded.
My mistake.

Why do "people of colour" want to be referred to as "black" ?

Black ffs. Not "brown" ?
Anomalies everywhere - like has been already said - surely its about the intent ?

black isn't offensive astley. in fact, reading reports today, it's the preferred term.
Therein lies the problem. I am told that “black” is unacceptable in these times. I have to say though, that when I just asked a black man, he said he didnt give a toss.

Sun reader
And that's why you are liar, go and read those posts again. My post was about the imbalance of TV programs, at no stage did I say i read The Sun.
Then you inferred a racial slur, of which you were too much of a coward to explain your comments when asked to clarify.

Liar, you read the Sun. I can remember when dirty old men like you would hide the Sun in a porno mag when they took it to the counter. You actually take umbridge that national news programmes don't show the Suns angle on anything. That's because the Sun is a comic for retarded people.

Things change with time but some people don't, or won't. Why not speak to people and ask them about their experiences. Take some time to read stuff that doesn't reinforce what you already believe?

That's largely accurate and true for the USA. But this is not the USA. This is the UK. The UK has no history of black slavery (at least not in the UK itself) or of segregation and 'Jim Crow' laws. That being the case, "coloured" should not have the power to offend and there should be no reason why people should find it offensive - especially in this case since the context within which it was used was clearly (to any reasonable person) not intended to cause offence in any way. Or do we have to import all our 'cultural sensitivities' from the US?

Your making it up as you go along aren't you dickhead. Just lies and inaccurate assumptions. You can't even point to a single post I have done which backs you up. Your just plain and simply a fucking liar.

Here"s an article from the UK. As fa's as I'm aware the preferred term here is black. I was just posting an example of why colored considered offensive.

Although according to a survey carried out by Astley 100% of respondents don't care.

Black not coloured
