Yesterday was our final chance to turn it around.

I couldn’t be there yesterday but listening to the radio and the reports it was obvious they’ve all capitulated. For those out of contract and those that will leave when we’re relegated, it’s obvious now they’re not going to put themselves into a position of getting a serious injury. They’re protecting their futures. It’s the way it is. If anyone offers £10m for Nacho or the same for Faes we’ll have to sell. Same as Ricky Castagne and JJ. Those being promoted will take these types of players.
Sadly Top has reacted far far too late and this is the result. Too many at the club thinking we’re too good to go down.
I’d suggest on paper even now, that when fully fit we have the best squad out of the bottom 9. Let’s face it both Bournemouth and Southampton are full of average championship players yet both have done the double over us. Unbelievable. Everton are awful yet with Dyche’s organisation they’ll survive. Palace bang average too. Wolves have some quality as do West Ham.

Yet without effort you’re buggered. For those that saw the Sheff Utd vs Blackburn cup match, what that showed is a lot of effort and spirit goes a long way. We have zero.

Rodgers had given up months ago.Several players are running the contracts down
Several players nobody sees and the only running they do is to the bank
On paper Leicester players were miles ahead of Bournemouth
What Bournemouth had were players who know if they are relegated they would have
not too many suitors for their services
Might be a lot of players in that team yesterday who at the end of the season will
find themselves in that category
They are so blinded and stupid enough to believe the hype 😁

There are eight game to go and we are in touch with six or so others.
We are not adrift so we are not down except perhaps in the players' minds.

We are absolutely NOT in touch with anyone. They are not even in touch with themselves.
Some delusion still exists here though most of the stalwarts have come round now

It's pretty certain that after the next game, even two straight wins will not be enough to guarantee getting out of the drop zone. It's as bleak as it looks. There is no comparison with our great escape season, where we had a bunch of players scrapping for their lives.
This lot have given up. There are too many of them that don't give a shit.

Would things be any better if by some miracle we did stay up? Trying to rebuild while trying to stay up because it’s obvious that if we do stay up we’ve got another season of this shite coming

But hopefully with a new manager taken on immediately and players who’ve assumingly been scouted properly we’d have a chance of mid table mediocrity. There’s so much crap in this division that with a couple of good players, good management, organisation and effort I’m sure we’d be ok.
