Yeovil 0 Dorking Wanderers 1

The glovers are all but down, ten years ago I saw Yeovil 1 Leicester 2. Next season they face local derbies at Taunton Town, Bath City, Chippenham and maybe Weston Super Mare FC. Ten years ago Dorking Wanderers were in the Sussex County League so about tier 10. "You never know how good it is till its gone said a glovers fan today" .

I saw Dorking last season against Oxford City, thought they looked decent but thought they were being bankrolled to progress? It never lasts if the support is poor.

I was at that game too. Not just Yeovil either. Scunthorpe were regular opponents at that time and they are also going down to the sixth division.

Our abject performance on Saturday was only made slightly bearable by my having watched FC Halifax Town thump Wrexham, the non league equivalent of a BCC. And looking forward to a trip to Wembley next month.

PS I am more interested in learning that Rudkin, Stowell and Sadler have gone before getting excited about new arrivals.
