Wonder what they're going to do about Vardy

He deserves a full stadium to say goodbye to – if we're at that point – but it's looking difficult to plan ahead what with embargoes, promotion uncertainty, possible play-offs, being skint, and so on.
That said, the experts in charge will probably just forget all about him 'til it's too late...

Or even more stupid (dare I say this heresy), the twats will give him a new contract..

totally up for naming a stand after him or giving him a statue (he can be 10 foot tall too like Vichai apparently was)

He'll come back in a few seasons time and then we can say thanks. We really need to just concentrate on the football for rest of season.

Under what ruling did the EFL impose a transfer embargo on us anyway?
They can't know whether we have breached any spending rules, because the accounts aren't due yet?
They also had no right to ask us for a business plan, decided by a court.
Even if we in future are found to have breached, the EFL action in placing an embargo, have not followed correct or fair procedure.
According to the EFL rules, we can undertake contract extensions etc.

That can’t be right can it? We’d be going into next season with half a squad if so.
Any and all transfer activity is banned, contract extensions, buying players, loaning players. The only thing allowed is the sale of players.

The same rules where they tried to impose a point deduction on us. They are preempting we will break the rules. Just a shame they jumped in to quickly. Our lawyers should be working on getting the unlawful embargo lifted asap.

It’s completely unrealistic. We have loads out of contract, we supposed to just play with a squad of 15 or something?

According to the Mockery...so it may not be true...quote from the EFL.

"Clubs can offer new contracts to existing players, though this will be dependent upon the circumstances of the individual Club and will be determined by the League."

Well he ain’t gonna take a wage cut is he? If he’s happy to take 40k a week fair play he can stay but he ain’t daft, he could get multiple times that in Saudi or USA
He took a pay cut when we got relegated, but i doubt if we get promoted he'd settle for the same, he'll want what he had last year should he be offered a one year extension.
Normally i would say keep somebody like him on to teach the young uns, maybe he can improve Cannon, but he's got no chance with Daka or Nacho.
If anybody deserved an old school testimonial match to say goodbye it would be him.

And the league have been so helpful and understanding so far.

The cunts can't wait to hang us outside Talbot Pub.
