The DoF is in overall charge of all football matters.
But the owner has final say on his role in the club.
I fear that Top does not have the self confidence or experience to
give JR his deserved P45.
So, effectively, JR rules...
PS A similar situation arose when we hit the skids under Taylor's management.
After the dust settled I asked a director why they did not act with more decisiveness.
He sais it was board policy when appointing an expert to let him get on with the job.
Which, I think misunderstands the role of the executive in a business.
But the owner has final say on his role in the club.

This goes back to the point I was trying to make a while ago, Rudkin was brought in by vichai , if the only football voice Top speaks to is Rudkin , where else does Top go for advice? If he bins him off who will give him the information to make an informed choice? Its a football question and I suspect whomever is appointed it is a far more important role than manager due to the mess we find ourselves in regarding players in/out and long term vision over style of play etc , I don't envy Top,he has some really tough decisions to make pdq.
