I think Quench was a night run by Glaze in the Nite in Town a few Saturdays in the mid 90s.Anyone remember two quite short-lived clubs. One was Leicester Underground, might have been King Street. The other I thinki was called Quench, upstairs opposite the old Odeon Cinema.

Early to mid 70's every Sunday night, was always full of local footballers from Syston St Peters, Thurmaston Town, Sileby town etc. Was a good place to go in those days until the drink driving law killed it.Did anyone venture out of town to the Durham ox at Sixhills?

We ran Quench your thirst, opposite the old Odeon. Early to mid 90's.Anyone remember two quite short-lived clubs. One was Leicester Underground, might have been King Street. The other I thinki was called Quench, upstairs opposite the old Odeon Cinema.
I don't think so, I remember the club though can't recall the name. Was it the bear cage
That was Bliss. Amazing night. Not near the odeon though it was Dryden Street back of Lee CircleStreetlife....once a month on a Thursday. The rest of the time it was a gay club near the old Odeon.
But one week in 4 ,we thought it was the Hacienda....
That’s right. It was mainly the ground floor of the building. If I remember properly downstairs was just a tiny little room that held about 8 peopleIthink the one upstairs at cafe bruxells was called The Dome.
Is that Yeoman Street? I’m sure that night had some sort of pirate themed name. Shiver me timbers type of nameI think Quench was a night run by Glaze in the Nite in Town a few Saturdays in the mid 90s.
