Good news. They’ve got Gent in the 1/4 final of the Conference League. Should win that. Then semi vs either Alkmaar or Anderlecht. So that’s hopefully another 4 games they’ve to play. It means they’ve got 9 games in a 27 day period in April. Not easy with their squad. Every little helps as they say.

Their European form is also probably keeping Moyes in a job, which works for us as long as they don't start getting any ideas about taking that form into their league games.

Yes probably is. You’re right. But let’s face it who’ve they met. Anderlecht in the group plus two unknowns and Larnaca. Hardly difficult. The Conference League this season is very poor. They’ve also got some tough games in April. Newcastle Fulham Liverpool and Arsenal followed by manure and Brentford in early May. Not easy when you’re playing every 3 days.

I agree. Fixture pile up is bound to hurt them, look how we’ve benefitted recently from only playing once a week.
 
If we can't do it ourselves then we deserve to go.
Can't keep relying on others to fail. Currently 4 teams below but only 1 PT between us. They ain't all going to fuck up.
