We’re all Bournemouth, aren’t we?

At the turn of the 20th century Inverurie Loco Works received a special invitation to play the Mexican champions Acapulco.
In 1988 popular beat combo the Four Tops recorded a song to commemorate this momentous event, Going Loco Down In Acapulco!

Bournemouth and Boscombe FC was one of the great football club names of my youth along with Brighton and Hove Albion and Third Lannark
When we played the Celtic friendly in 2016 @borebage53 and I visited the ground of Third Lanark which is the old Hampden. If you’re ever in Glasgow it’s definitely worth taking some time out to see it.

A win would be terrific.

It's going to be tough, but we really have a chance.
Wouldn't have said that a month ago

Thank you Bournemouth. I’ll be celebrating by having duck for dinner. With a cherry sauce obviously

Leeds must really be fearing the worst.
Thumped twice at home and then had two games ( us & Bournemouth) to get themselves clear.
They have Man City away next.

Before 1994 Inverness had 3 Highland League teams playing in the City. Clachnacuddin,Caledonian and Inverness Thistle.
Caledonian Thistle FC was formed in a controversial merger of Caledonian and Inverness Thistle in 1993 and joined the Scottish League a year later when the League was expanded by 2 teams.
The name was changed to Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC for the 1996/7 season.
Clachnacuddin still play in the Highland League and hold the all time record of 18 Highland League Championship titles!
