We could stay up

That Brentford game was Rodgers making a point to the board about the lack of funds.
The problem is he gambled with the result that day and it spectacularly backfired. Those two lost points have ultimately damaged us beyond repair. It also set the tone for the nightmare start that ensued. I am convinced we would of been mid-table after 6-8 games without that catastrophic miscalculation and probably gone on to have a reasonable season. It was a very poor piece of management that's damaged us far beyond the actual result that day, it tipped us over to a club that adapted to a losing mentality.
We have never really recovered from it, and what with so many players knowingly playing their last season it become a cocktail for failure.
I hope in future we never accumulate a Leicester team with some very good individuals but a complete lack of heart and fight. We would of been better off with a bunch of average players who would fight to the bitter end.
There is so much data surrounding players and performances at top level clubs, that it's been a monumental failure within our ranks for someone not to point out that this club would be in trouble if it was to get embroiled in a relegation battle.

I've long believed, and continued to stated on here that imo we are the worst team in this division, there has been nothing I've seen to make me change my mind, a lot more people are coming to the same conclusion. Sad some
people are still clinging to the hope of some sort of "Survival Miracle" but the vast majority of the players simply do care a toss, which puts an end to any vestige of of hope there ever was. The only two players I would keep are Dewsbury-hall and Justin. Would make either captain/vice captain for next season and replace EVERYTHING else.
Foxes Never Quit.....Till now.

If as you would expect, Forest lose to Chelsea away and Arsenal at home - hopefully the title race is not done and dusted by then.

Forest at Palace for the last game = Palace up for it with it being Zaha and Woy's (probably) last game. They win and Leicester just have to beat Conference final bound West Ham to stay up on GD

Even then, you would expect us to fuck it up, but you never Know! Hope springs eternal etc
So that would mean Southampton, Forest and us for the drop then, right??

Don't do it to yourself.
It's the hope that tears you apart when they let you down time after time.

Just accept it - they are not fit enough, not confident enough, drained of all enthusiasm and some simply not good enough ... Every game they find a different way to blow away getting the results we need.

The last 5 games we’ve conceded within 20 mins. Every one. I fully expect like Fulham for Liverpool to be 2-0 up by then too. Remember this is a team that’s scored 9,7 and 6 in three matches

I am not prepared to say who, or in what capacity but a person who I know travels back on the team coach.
They said that if anyone thought there would be a sombre mood on the trip back home then they would be wrong. Plenty of laughing and joking and no reflection of the result that they had just sustained.
Whilst not a criminal offence I think it tells you the characters attitudes to it all.
It makes me feel the performance Infront of the camera and in interviews is just that......a performance.

Based on Leeds fixtures, I thought 33 points maximum for them. Looking at those fixtures again - Barcodes and Spurs at home and West Ham away - I think they could do better, so yes. you could be right

Do you expect chelsea to win??
A team who hasn’t won at home for 6 games Losing 5 of them.

There are always results that go against the form book at the end of the season.
Problem is, I haven't seen any evidence since Smith came in that we've got the guts to win again this season.

The win at Bournemouth will help them. They have massively underperformed and will want to finish the season as strongly as possible. Forest are very poor away from home so I would expect Chelsea to win.

Southampton at home 1-0 up then we decided to defend deeper and deeper and they got the winner.
And so it goes on
That was the game he should have been sacked after in my opinion, I'd given him the benefit of doubt last season with the injuries but knew he was a busted flush after that game.

Brentford at home for me. We’re 2-0 up and they decide to strengthen their midfield at the expense of a defender.
Our elite manager decides to take a midfielder off (increasing their dominance) and put an additional striker on.
Result - overrun in midfield and our additional striker barely sees the ball - games ends 2-2. All down to Rodgers.
That and the clear indications that the players weren’t fit from the start of the season and that’s played a huge part since then.
