Could have conceded an embarrassing own goal today...the cross along the floor to his near post which he pattercaked around the post for a corner. Although it was nice to see him come out and claim some high balls.

I don't think he's the answer.

Not sure if l mentioned this a few days ago or not, my apologies if l did. The goalkeeping coach at Leicester is Kasper ! He takes all the training with the other goalkeepers, fuck all to do with Stowell. Which may explain the repeated mistakes, like corners and distribution.

Ward is a decent keeper, for people to blame him for the forest defeat is bollocks, is he the answer to the goalkeeping spot, I’m not convinced, but as in any position you need a run ofgames to build confidence. Schmeichel is a great shot stopper but just as important is commanding the box and he is very average in that respect. I think Kasper wants to go but there is no vacancy in the top teams and the next cab off the rank is Newcastle where he would probably double his wages. Iverson on loan at Preston looks a top prospect and he may well be the answer.
 
He said he wants to play Champions League football again so for me that means moving abroad.

He’ll have to accept the lower wages though.
 
There must be something in the Kasper gossip for BR to exclude him from the starting line up for the first time in I don't know how long.
 
Rodgers said he'd promised Ward games at the end of the season, should have played last week but was injured.
Don't think there's anything to be read into this.
 
Rodgers claimed after the game that the plan was always to use Ward against Norwich and Watford to reward him for being a patient understudy to Schmeichel, but he had a knee problem last Wednesday so couldn't play in that one. I'm not sure whether I believe it or not, but it sort of did make sense...

Been a loyal servant to the club so I bear no grudge it's partly Rodgers fault as I can't imagine MON or Jock or most other managers allowing a keeper to get away with it?
