Remember him? Well it seems he’s been playing v well at Bologna and has been a regular starter all season. Thanks to the scallies and the pie and mash lot losing in Europe this week plus Swabianfox’s explanation of how the coefficient works, it seems Bologna are going to get a CL place.
So what do we do. Keep him in case Enzo goes to Sevilla or bin him. If he goes we MUST get a minimum £15m for him especially if we go up. That would help our financials I assume.
 
Impossible to tell if he’s decent or not because he got thrown in to the team immediately after signing for us & looked more than ok. 3/4 weeks of training under the negative narcissist & he seemed to go completely into his shell.
 
We’ll probably not have a choice but to sell him anyway. I just hope Bologna don’t take the piss

He actually said this. He didn't like the position Enzo was going to ask him to play.

Leicester changed manager, they wanted me to play as a central defender, but I preferred to continue playing in my role. “I told my agent that I needed to change teams to be a full-back. Bologna arrived offering me a nice project.” As said by VK
 
VK wanted out after Enzo was appointed. It was a volte-face as prior to then he was all committed to the club post relegation. Not sure I understood his reasoning as the LB role most of the time is pretty conventional.
 
I quite liked him. Don’t think we saw enough of him to have a firm judgement either way. Wouldn’t be averse to seeing him play for us again. I read earlier in season Bologna had no interest in buying him.. these European clubs all take the piss out of us.. none of them ever have any intention of taking up the permenant option. How many loans did Silva go on.. all clubs were happy with him.. none wanted to fork out actual money.

Well they’re going to get CL football. I’d play hardball with them. They love him apparently and I’d suggest he’d want to stay there.
But you’re right. Same with Praet. Loan. Nothing further

Think there is a pre-agreed €15m figure in the Kristiansen deal if they want to sign him. No doubt if they did want him they’d try and knock us down.

And on same sort of subject no danger of Seville taking Soumare is there? 😅
 
Bologna will offer 5 euros and a plate of pasta. All the Italian clubs take the p*ss when it comes to transfers - see Torino with Praet etc
 
Not in the starting eleven for their biggest game of the season so far away at Roma.

Bologna currently 2-0 up after 45 Mins.
