It would put Saints out of the equation for us.
Keep us 2pts ahead of Leeds.
Would also mean that even if Ipswich beat Hull City we would still have control over them albeit by GD.

It's been a bad few days for them. They would have hoped for our wobble to continue against WBA.
They then inexplicably lost at Cardiff after totally dominating, then the Leeds win tonight making them complete outsiders for automatic.
I feel this game is a bit like the Norwich one for us where there was a degree of fear about the opponent . If we play anything like we did against Norwich though I think we'll be fine.
I expect a nervous crowd but one that will get right behind the boys, especially knowing that this really is crunch time.
 
If the crowd are nervous it will make the players twitchy, best to forget the pressures, after all you have done it many times before.
 
I worry that he will play the same back four against their fast wingers and KDH on the right. Oh and Daka up front 🥺 you herd it here first!!
 
I remember when I used to really look forward to a City game, sat in my car at work having my sarnies and I’m Feckin dreading tonight, I want Ricardo in a flat back 4 with Wilf, Dewsbury Hall & Winks in the middle, Vardy up top with wingers either side…
I just know it’s going to be Choudhury (Captain) & trampoline shins Daka up top for fecks sake…
