Tickets not arriving

They could do so much with that stand if they wanted to. It’s at street level for a start and could be built up to at least the height of a house. Plus it’s deep, there’s bags of space to build something really decent.

True but they don’t want to spend the money. The toilet and concourse of the away end is like something from the 70’s. I love the old grounds but there’s a massive difference between Villa and Selhurst Park

The only other reason is to limit the chance of tickets being passed around but with a week til the game there’s plenty of time for people to meet up or use the postal service.
I wouldn't trust the cunting postal service if there was a month til the game!

Villa Park is virtually all new-build these days! Goodison is an old ground.
But give me the Arthur Wait over Newcastle, Arsenal and many others any day of the fucking week – at least it's got a bit of character, and who the fuck goes to football for the concourse anyway? It's only the back rows that have a shit view, but you get a quid off.
And let's not forget the fantastic memories there from 2016 and 1997.....

Not so long ago Selhurst Park held 50,000 +
