Tickets not arriving

anyone else not receiving their tickets through the post ?

I've been waiting for my Palace ticket, checked my email which said it was sent on the 27th last month. I've emailed them but its happening too often.

No. Not got mine either. They’re making it rather difficult to support them right now
Palace is a game that they are asking for ID on entry, I've not been to a game yet that they have done this, as anyone ?

Not got mine yet They'll be holding these back to try to prevent any sell on. Then everyone will pass the ID check.

That's why there's still 400 Man City tickets and over a Thousand for Dirty Leeds still left its a fucking Shambles they obviously don't want supporters there 😞

I think you’ve misunderstood the email. The way I read it was that as well as getting 100 or so to pick up their tickets they’re going to check some as well on entry. So they want everyone to carry a photo ID to correspond with the ticket. I’d tell them to bugger off. Just say I don’t bring any cards to matches in case I get mugged! Apparently they did this at Southampton although we just walked in no problem.

I think the question should be less "why are they sending out the tickets so late" as "why are they selling them so early?" Given everything else they are looking at with regards to away ticket distribution this continues to be one of the things that baffles me most.

More money in the bank making a bit of interest?

are they heading towards charging more by selling them eventually in packages - basically corporate tickets ? Like the old executive packages for away games. It seems to me that they have built a demand that outstrips availability over the last few years. That in turn makes the tickets worth more, so they stop sell ons, of which they are doing now. Then, the only option if you want to travel is pay extra, for add ons like meals and travel. Its already happened and expanding for home games. Teams like Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea have been ahead of the game in this.

I dont see how they can ask for id for tickets there's no names on tickets, Unless they are going to lug lap tops/written lists to each turnstile
the only way the club can do it is by making you turn up with id to collect ticket, Can you imagine being searched bags searched and ids?
be lucky to get in by half time. In answer to your question ive been to most away games and they haven't asked for id

my tickets have my name on them.

Fucking hell, I know every little helps but how much interest can anybody get on less than £90k being in a bank account 3 weeks earlier than might otherwise be the case!?!
The only other reason is to limit the chance of tickets being passed around but with a week til the game there’s plenty of time for people to meet up or use the postal service.

Arthur Wait was a local builder who joined the board of Crystal Palace F.C. as a director sometime between 1948 and 1950. In 1958 he became the Chairman, before being replaced by Raymond Bloye in 1972, and he then became Life President of the club, a position he held until 1981. The Arthur Wait Stand at Selhurst Park is named in his honour. Wait was a lifelong Palace supporter who used to sneak into the ground as a schoolboy.

It’s also my least favourite stand in the PL along with that monstrosity we’re in at Stratford
