Just reading Wints post above (didn’t hear the interview - boozing in Bristol still) but there’s no defence for that performance today. It was shite. In fact they looked like they’d done the nine pubs I did last night.
I came away from the Leeds fuck-up the other week pissed off but saw that we were clearly still a good team and would have no problems securing promotion despite that result… but since, and especially today, we look like a useless mid-table outfit. Weak, no confidence, no plan B (some might say no plan A). Don’t win on Monday and automatic is all over.

Just got back. A complete inept performance sadly defined by one our true greats JV. ( not the Danish snail). Missed many good chances and one sitter. I don’t want to see Mavididi on the pitch again this season. What a sad sulky pathetic individual he is. Can’t beat a man to save his life and can’t be bothered to ever track back. You could see D-H was fuming with him. Never made space to run into. The whole defence is now a liability. You know they’ll concede at some point. They looked like a group of players with nothing to play for - oh hold on. Half are out of contract and a few others know they’ll not be here next season no matter where we’re playing.
My only hope is Ricky is starting on Monday to give us that bite in midfield but honestly I think Norwich will do us easily. Another implosion!

Today the entire back line were appalling, the midfield 3 were anonymous and the front 3 were rank.
If Daka had fluffed his lines like Vardy did today we’d be screaming blue murder.
To play that badly, create that number of scoreable chances, spurn the lot and lose to a pish poor outfit is a crime of football.

In the Seven Stars reading your post LG, and the bit I’ll take from it is Mavididi. You’re right. I think he spends too much time thinking about how he can extract a foul out of a situation rather than taking on the defender and creating something. He scored a cracker at Chelsea, but summat’s up there.
