These electrical charging points in the streets

Not sure what it’s like in Leicester or where you’re from. In coventry they went a bit batshit crazy with them. Installing them everywhere. Something to do with pushing Coventry as the main place for making these batteries. Anyway, I have two within 20 seconds walking from my front door. There’s probably about another four the top end of the street. The three years they have been there I’ve never seen one in use. My place of work there’s probably about 30 installed in the car park (it was a new build around 2 years ago) and I’d say 10 to 15 are in use daily (all company cars)

Agree. Silly decision to install them in Wood End. However, you can charge your forklift right outside your door!

Presumably charging your company car at work attracts BIK

It’s all about the future not the present. If someone’s thinking of changing their car they are more likely to choose electric if charging it is easier.

Those who don’t have a driveway and can only park on the street, usually not outside their house, have little choice other than find a parking space with a charger. In fact right now some may choose electric so they can get a parking space.

I’ve said elsewhere that I’m nowhere near ready for electric yet. It has a lot to progress before I am ready to take that step, and I don’t believe fully electric the way it is at present is the future anyway. It works for people who only do city driving. We’ll that’s not me as most of my miles are longer distance.

You mean they've been proactive and got them ready in advance rather than wait until people start complaining there's nowhere to charge their cars? Crazy.

No, I mean the Chef is being proactive by pissing on them. 'They' are following the mantra that must be obeyed which is move the pollution from the vehicle to the power station or the mine as the gullible public will fall for it as it's out of sight out of mind.

So long as the gullibles don't have to live with the problem, they won't care about the earth or the people living near to the source of the pollution.

Gullible, cynical, selfish. I don't know.

What happens when all the little black kids die from mining the magical battery juice. Who’s gonna get the magical battery juice then?

Or move the pollution to China, India and the developing world

Oh I see, you suddenly care about the little black kids and the environment then?
Not really, but given the choice of some Macdonalds eating fat fucks who can’t breath in Elephant & Castle, or the poor little black kids digging the magic battery juice out the ground to make you feel morally superior to others. Yeah I’m on the black kids side. What about you?

If I've read that insane ULEZ thread correctly...

1. This clean air issue in London doesn't affect these African kids, because they are poor and can't afford cars.

2. If they don't get these batteries up and running, these kids in Africa will have no healthy future anyway.

It was a reply to you and the 2 above.

Why is it either/or and taking sides?

No, but you've never mentioned it before, now you do. Suddenly:
/ˈsʌdənli/
adverb
quickly and unexpectedly
I think there’s been quite a few mentions of the little black kids mining your magic battery goo over a long period on here.

I’ve mentioned it a number of times. Hackneys done his usual, sharted and fucked off sharpish same as the grassing cunt and a dumb ass. In fairness to bookclub he did respond once saying “hopefully” their lot will improve.

"their lot"? Why is it always them and us? I'm guessing you don't use a mobile phone that uses magic battery goo seeing as you're on the bkacknkids' side?

They're probably being used for surveillance as part of the WEF agenda. Or when activated they'll give people cancer or something.
