That Bridge Collapse

Thought it was weird when I first saw it. With the local pilot on the bridge that should be impossible. Well almost impossible, two local pilots now board in case one is drunk and catastrophe occurs as has happened.
The ship losing power explains it, those things don't stop on a dime.

Remember the 'penis' course of the Evergreen before it ran aground in the Suez?

Must be a coup d'état then, involving the Obama's...explains why Barack went to see Rishi recently.
Get supplies stocked up...the States are about to fall...

What should be thickened, is concrete.

It's interesting as more comes to light and the analysis starts. Read an interesting article in the SF Gate, all the major bridges on the American Pacific coast have their support columns protected by giant concrete fenders, up to 27 ft. thick and 40 ft. deep.

No ship could get close to the towers and when they have collided, the worst is a cracked buttress. Baltimore was an accident waiting to happen.

Well some fuckers to blame and let’s hope that the migrant worker's families are suitably compensated for the loss of their loved ones.

My son in law was at a meeting at the American embassy today and they are saying that the ship was hacked. Apparently the anchor was released before the collision in an attempt to stop it.

I was reading in the ships log, they were having electrical problems with refrigerated containers causing havoc and tripping breakers, they had a team of electricians before departing try to deal with the problem. More a case of institutional indifference. And it's happened before:

^^ Great channel by the way, specialises in commercial breakdowns, primarily nautical and structural engineering... and human failings.
