I don't like the word soccer I prefer football.Used to love this in seventies, just seen a advert for it, can't go back to it after pro evolution football
Lol, I used to keep kneeling on the linesmanIt’s Latin for ‘Oh fuck Mum’s just stood on our whole back line.’
The Hobby bird... it’s’ Latin name is Subbuteo Subbuteo!!!!No, please tell?
I think this was a misjudged post but linesman was white man, sorry.I was takin the knee in the seventies crushing my linesman.
Wot u mean slimani and that Portuguese goalie called Ricardo or summat? You’d always get palmed off with a headless centre forward
And a goalkeeper with no arms and a face like his
In the late 60’s I used to sprinkle sand onto the pitch to mimic Filbert Street..We used to put talcom powder on pitch for snow.
I used to use Beta LitesAll I wanted were the floodlights. Then I was going to ask for a moonless night and the drizzle.
Same for me and my brother, did all the cup competitions including European ones. Played 20 mins each way... took forever. Pitch on a board but with a blanket between board and pitch, goals held in place with elastic stretched over the frame and pinned down. Yes small ball as well.Use to stage entire FA Cups, generally playing against myself. My dad had tacked the pitch to a board, for stability. I remember graduating to the smaller ball when I thought I had got past the beginner stage. Used to buy a new team from the Toy Box in Francis St when I had some birthday or Christmas money
I sincerely wish I went school with you...I even took my team with me to Uni. Played mainly on grass there, sometimes non-organics. On both you could kneel on other teams and no fucker would notice. Citeh had some very good seasons then.
