Have never understood this. We were down before the clocks went back. No proper keeper, no proper full backs, one mardy sod of a centre back who cleared off after we paid for his rehab, one centre back ageing and permanently injured, one centre back not played out of spite; an invisible midfield, and the 'too good to go down' talent - I guess Madders and Barnes - patchy and sicknote. Vards stuck on the bench / expected to play a game that has never been his and never been what he's about. Where exactly is the 'too good' and why the surprise?
F%^&*t and Soton playing notably better and more committed football than us at the mo'.
Sickening, but I guess we'll come again some year or another.
Meanwhile bring on the Millwall.
