Soumare

he ambles about out of possession, and he slows down moves when we're in possession.
 
I thought Soumare was good today.
Aggressive, direct, forward.
I've always said the back back side side back walking football schooled into him by the clown wasn't his game.
Today we saw a new coaching team getting him to be much more positive in less than 2 weeks.
Rodgers has destroyed the club and many players with his tippy tappy in your own.half football.
You don't win the league ahead of PSG like Soumare did playing Rodgers football.
Today is a sign there is a player there who could be quite useful for us.
Every man in the squad has a clean slate now the clown has gone.
Different managers get different things out of players.

Outstanding performance from Soumare. He showed real desire in winning the ball back and started the move for 2nd goal. Not sure what everyone expects, but for a player who has won Ligue 1, then been in and out of the team here, I thought he had a great game.

He wasn’t great in the first half but had a really good game second half.

That doesn’t mean he hasn’t been shit for his whole career with us. But it does beg the question WTF was Rodgers doing with him?
 
Apart from a couple of impressive, lung busting runs, and a defence splitting pass to Kristianson to cross, he always seems surprised to get the ball and struggles to get it under control.
Agree, his best game so far but I still watch him heart in mouth.
