Worth every penny.
As my manure neighbour said to me last week, it was a modern day version of Robin Hood robbing the rich to give to the poorWorth every penny.
Nothing in solskjaer says manager. Average at best is being extremely kind daggers & the proof is in when you ask yourself, would any fan of any club in the top 2 leagues be happy if he was appointed as your clubs gaffer?I know they had their tails up and we were struggling with injuries & suspensions, and confidence, but it’s still a travesty that they beat us that last game of the season to qualify for the Champions League this year.
That papered over their cracks. They have an average manager at best and really aren’t very good. Their big saviour Fernandez only seems to score penalties.
Having a season in the Europa League may well do us some good in the long run. It’s certainly not doing us any harm at the minute.
Until they get a DOF and a sense of direction they'll hopefully continue to underachieve and overpay.I also think Poch is being lined up at manure. It would be a good fit.
It’s early days regarding Lampard, but everyone knows that he is a bright, intelligent chap, so he at least stands a chance. He’s only managed Cardiff and Molde before! Hardly top drawer. It’s always been amazing how some of these former hero players are given top jobs immediately. Rarely do they come up to expectation. I remember Bryan Robson in the 90’s with Boro. Totally backed big time by the chairman but he was always bang average. Lampard just might be the exception. I also think Poch is being lined up at manure. It would be a good fit.
Out of the 2 guys we had, Evans was a better option for Man Utd. He was by far the better centre half.I reckon if they tried to offload him they would d struggle to get 35 million, there's better options out there in my opinion.
Their error wasn't just making a caretaker permanent - it was the classic mistake of choosing a manager because he happened to have played for the club. Would Solskjaer have been considered on his managerial record alone? Never in a million years. So why appoint him? It's insane - yet clubs still do it.One Manure mistake was making the classic error of turning a caretaker permanent
Surely anyone knows at any level of football you leave two defenders on one attacker at a corner, unless you're losing and desperate to score. Pathetic football.Just seen the 1st goal that they conceded last night.
Absolutely comical schoolboy defending.
If you get a chance have a look.
Sure, although I imagine that as an ex-player he was well-known to have exactly the sort of upbeat positive personality that they so badly needed after old misery guts had left the place like a morgue.Their error wasn't just making a caretaker permanent - it was the classic mistake of choosing a manager because he happened to have played for the club. Would Solskjaer have been considered on his managerial record alone? Never in a million years. So why appoint him? It's insane - yet clubs still do it.
That was my point above. Any other manager who’d been in charge of Molde and Cardiff get the job? No chance.Their error wasn't just making a caretaker permanent - it was the classic mistake of choosing a manager because he happened to have played for the club. Would Solskjaer have been considered on his managerial record alone? Never in a million years. So why appoint him? It's insane - yet clubs still do it.
Poch was always a better fit. He’s had some time off and waited in the wings. I’m sure his price will have gone up also. He’s only managed Cardiff and Molde before! Hardly top drawer. It’s always been amazing how some of these former hero players are given top jobs immediately. Rarely do they come up to expectation. I remember Bryan Robson in the 90’s with Boro.
