I agree. Apart from the stroking of delicate egos, precisely what is to be gained by having the likes of Sky's cuntish pundits talking shite about us?
We know what we are. Who cares about others trying to tell us something vaguely similar?

Here’s us very happy there’s no VAR, not because we’ve benefitted from not having it, just because it’s helped the games flow.

Filbo, no one is asking for them to say we are great/ unbelievable/going to win it etc etc.
They didn’t even acknowledge that we had played.
 
Before the game both sets of players took the knee. They, did that.... and then this happened (ad infinitum)
 
Different kettle of fish on BT last night, Robbie Savage is now the biggest City fan ever and the other fellows on their were saying we could win the Premier leugue, we may go far in the Europa and win that too. Also saying it was a travesty that Maddison had been over looked by England as well as Barnes.
To be honest I was sick of them bigging us up, it didn't sound right lol.

I'd sooner they say nothing, nothing at all. Much better than some Sky knobhead yelling "The great Leicester City win again, don't we love them". During the 2016 'Leicester Fest' I became very bitter to any non-Leicester fan pontificating how wonderful we are and what a breath of fresh air we are single-handedly saving football blah blah blah.....FUCK OFF I want other teams fans and especially the media to hate us with a passion.
 
The ‘Big Six’ owners hate us with a passion. Hence Project Big Picture. Which won’t go away unless and until we do.
 
This all reminds me of the time in 1981 that I was listed at 4th in the Halliwell's Movie Guide "Big Six". Along with big barrel chested Brian Dennehy, Burt Reynolds,George Hamilton,Omar Sharif and George Peppard.
It wasn't at all easy to live with the expectation and all the sycophantic praise that went with it. I soon spiralled into alcohol and drug abuse. It came as a great relief when in the following year I had slipped down the rankings to 436th!

Precisely – they have their agenda, and only work to that agenda. Who cares about them any longer?
It's not just Sky – for instance, the BBC have a sport website that provides decent coverage of snooker, but only when the BBC have the TV rights to it. There's nothing from them about tournaments that ITV or Eurosport cover, unless maybe their favourite ROS does something controversial.

Specially when there are leaks from the Premier League meetings saying that Susan Whelan runs rings about the 'big 6' chief execs.
They must hate her :)
 
I’m sure most/all of us don’t want the media hyping us up and would rather we fly below the radar. However, as essington said, the fact they didn’t even recognise we had played showed disrespect and how obsessed they are with certain clubs. They just don’t like us being a threat, long may it continue.

Listened to a speech of hers a few years back after we won the title, She was brilliant I thought then what an asset she is to this club. Very intelligent and eloquent.
